SOUTHFIELD - Northwest Unitarian Universalist Church in Southfield will host a statewide conference on Standing on the Side of Love for Immigration Reform and LGBT Justice on Saturday, Nov. 20, 8:30 a.m. - 4:00 p.m. The church is located at 23925 Northwestern Hwy, in Southfield.
The interfaith conference promises to be moving, eye-opening, and educational. Two panels will discuss the true life stories of immigrants and LGBT people who have been affected by oppression. Immigration Reform for America and Equality Michigan will hold workshops on the issues.
